Ed and Tema Kovitz, Owners
Ed Kovitz was born in West Point, New York into an Air Force family. Besides New York he has lived in Missouri, Louisiana, France, Germany, and Illinois. Ed moved to Colorado in 1968. Tema was born and raised in Monument and is a true Colorado native. She has never lived anywhere that did not offer an excellent view of Pikes Peak and "her" mountains. In their spare time Ed and Tema enjoy camping and fishing.
Ed Kovitz started his real estate, appraisal and auction businesses in 1979. Although he has worked all over Colorado, he has specialized in rural properties east of Colorado Springs, including El Paso, Elbert and Lincoln Counties.
Tema Kovitz started her real estate related career in the El Paso County Assessor's office. She then pursued a career in the title insurance business. Tema worked for Land Title Guarantee Company for over 14 years, until Ed could finally convince her to work full time managing Ed Kovitz & Associates, LLC. She still works on a part time basis as a consultant for Land Title. Tema's real estate and title knowledge is a great asset to the company.
Tema recently started a new endeavor, Jubilee Investments, LLC, a real estate investment company that focuses on helping buyers and sellers come together. She is very excited about this new business and has been working diligently to get it started.
